More: Idaho Republicans Kill Bill Designed to Protect Kids From ‘Faith Healing’ Deaths
Boise’s KBOI reported on announcement by state House Judiciary Committee Chairman Rich Wills (R), who said that House Speaker Scott Bedke (R) said there is no room on the legislative agenda to debate the bill. Bedke declined to comment, however, as to why the measure is being left off of the legislative slate.
Here is my letter to this idiot.
Mr Bedke;
Thank you so much for making Idaho once again look like ignorant backwoods hicks by refusing to allow debate on Mr Gannon’s bill to protect children from unneeded suffering and death through so called prayer healing. I hope you are aware that your decision has already hit some of the most viewed political blogs in the United States and is being met with the scorn it deserves. An individuals “religious rights” end when the exercise of those rights endanger the life of a child who can not seek help on their own and your failure to help protect these children is morally reprehensible.
Here are a couple of links. May I suggest you read the comment sections to see what the rest of America thinks of you.
